Job description for Valve Department

Division: Valve | Post: Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced draftsman to join our team!

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Must be proficient in SOLIDWORKS & EXCEL.
- Must have basic knowledge of Valves & its relevant standards.
- Basic Knowledge of Foundry & Machining Processes, creating Casting & Machining models & drawings





Technical knowledge for Valve Department

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of mechanical equipment designs, dies/tools and controls using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team with the help of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
- Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
- Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
- Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
- Draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, & systems.
- Co-ordinate with Sales Team & Create GAD’s as per customer requirements.
