We are seeking a skilled and proactive Python Developer to support and enhance our school’s digital infrastructure. The role involves developing, maintaining, and integrating Python-based applications, including ERP, data automation, and back end systems that streamline academic and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts for school systems.
- Integrate and customize ERP modules (such as ERPNext or similar platforms).
- Automate routine data processes like report generation, attendance tracking, and student record management.
- Collaborate with the IT and academic teams to identify system improvement needs.
- Develop APIs and integrate third-party tools (LMS, payment gateways, etc.).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform debugging or database optimization.
- Maintain proper documentation of system changes and application processes.
- Ensure data security and compliance with institutional IT policies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Robust proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Django / Flask).
- Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON/XML data handling.
- Familiarity with ERPNext or school ERP systems (preferred).
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple priorities in a school setting.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Python Developer (experience in educational setups preferred).
