Designation : Accountant

Qualification: M.Com + tally with 2 Year experience/ B.Com +Tally with 6 years Experience

Job role:

1.Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

2.Billing and Invoicing: Generate invoices for services rendered to patients, insurance companies, and other clients. Ensure timely billing and follow-up on outstanding payments.

3.Expense Management: Track and monitor expenses related to laboratory operations, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and utilities. Review and reconcile expense reports.

4.Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for cost-saving measures.

5.Payroll Processing: Coordinate payroll activities, ensuring accurate and timely payment to laboratory staff. Verify time sheets, deductions, and bonuses in compliance with relevant regulations.

6.Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Present financial performance metrics to management on a regular basis.

7.Tax Compliance: Stay updated on tax regulations relevant to the medical laboratory industry. Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state,



and federal requirements.

8.Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.

9.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, marketing and administration, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

11.Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools effectively to streamline processes and improve accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

12Continual Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in financial management. Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within the laboratory.

13.Customer Service: Provide support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders regarding financial inquiries and concerns, fostering positive relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
