BIM Coordinator / MEP BIM Modeler

About the Role

Stark Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP BIM Coordinator - MEP BIM Modeler with strong expertise in BIM coordination, advanced modeling, and multidisciplinary collaboration. This role is ideal for professionals who can actively contribute to both hands-on MEP modeling and project-level BIM coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing coordinated MEP models, performing clash detection and resolution, producing construction-ready BIM deliverables, and collaborating with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution. Experience in contractor-side BIM workflows and GCC projects will be a strong advantage.

Selected candidates will undergo 2 months of comprehensive training in the UAE to familiarize themselves with the company's standards, workflows, and project coordination procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

MEP BIM Coordination & Delivery

- Lead and participate in BIM coordination activities across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.
- Perform clash detection, clash analysis, and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and other disciplines to ensure model integration and project compliance.
- Review models for constructability, installation feasibility, and project requirements.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and track closure of coordination issues.

BIM Modeling & Technical Deliverables

- Develop, maintain, and update detailed MEP BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 models in accordance with project requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Generate construction-ready drawings,



schedules, and BIM deliverables.
- Support site teams by providing model-based clarifications and technical assistance.

Clash Detection & Model Quality

- Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage and BIM 360/ACC workflows.
- Generate clash reports and coordinate resolution with project stakeholders.
- Maintain model health, accuracy, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and QA/QC procedures.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, site teams, and project managers.
- Support BIM Managers in project execution and delivery milestones.
- Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements, GCC standards, and project-specific BIM protocols.
- Manage multiple project priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines.

Leadership & Team Support

- Mentor and guide junior BIM Modelers and support team development.
- Share best practices related to modeling standards, coordination workflows, and BIM processes.
- Assist in maintaining consistency and quality across project deliverables.

Requirements & Qualifications

- 3–6 years of relevant MEP BIM experience.
- Experience working as an MEP BIM Modeler with exposure to BIM coordination responsibilities.
- Experience working on Middle East/UAE/GCC projects is highly preferred.
- Experience with contractor-side BIM execution and coordination workflows is an advantage.

Technical Expertise

- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing,



and Fire Protection systems.
- Experience in developing coordinated MEP BIM models and construction documentation.
- Strong understanding of LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500 deliverables.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, BEP requirements, and QA/QC processes.
- Knowledge of international codes and GCC project standards.

Software Proficiency

- Autodesk Revit MEP (Advanced)
- Autodesk Navisworks Manage (Clash Detection & Coordination)
- AutoCAD
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- Microsoft Office Suite

Education

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.

- Exposure to fabrication-level modeling and contractor-side project execution.
