Job Summary

Bliss & Brew Café is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Café Assistant to support the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and operate the billing/POS system.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and light snacks as per café standards.
- Display and replenish bakery products, ensuring freshness and attractive presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café, kitchen, counter, dining area, and equipment.
- Handle cash, digital payments, and maintain billing accuracy.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and managing stock and inventory.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Support opening and closing duties of the café.




- Assist the Café Manager in daily operations and complete assigned tasks.

Required Skills

- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation (training can be provided).
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Punctual, honest, and well-groomed.

Preferred Qualifications

- High school (10+2) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a café, bakery, restaurant, or retail outlet is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Hours

- 10-12hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per the café roster.
- One weekly day off.
