Job Title: Associate Professor – Human Resource Management (HR)
Location: Amity University Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

Amity University Hyderabad invites applications for the position of Associate Professor – Human Resource Management (HR). The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership, and industry engagement. The role involves teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, conducting high-quality research, mentoring scholars, and contributing to institutional development in line with UGC norms and the University's academic vision.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach core and elective courses in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, Talent Management, HR Analytics, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Leadership.
- Develop and update curriculum aligned with industry trends and accreditation standards.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in ABDC/Scopus/SCI/SSCI indexed journals.
- Guide Ph.D. scholars, MBA projects, and dissertation work.
- Secure research grants, consultancy assignments, and sponsored projects.
- Establish industry collaborations for internships, live projects, executive education, and corporate interactions.
- Participate in accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, AACSB, etc.) and academic administration.
- Organize conferences, FDPs, MDPs, seminars, and workshops.
- Contribute to departmental, school, and university committees.
- Mentor students and support placement and career development initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
- MBA/PGDM (HR) or equivalent with First Class throughout the academic career.
- Must satisfy UGC eligibility criteria for Associate Professor,



including the prescribed teaching/research experience and publication requirements.
- At least one degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D.) from a premier institution, such as an IIT, IIM, XLRI, TISS, FMS Delhi, ISB, or another nationally/internationally reputed institution, is highly desirable.

Experience

- Minimum 12 years of teaching, research, and/or industry experience as per UGC norms, with experience at the Assistant Professor level.
- Demonstrated record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in guiding research scholars and handling academic administration is preferred.
- Exposure to Outcome-Based Education (OBE), LMS platforms, and blended learning methodologies.

- Leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration capabilities.
- Commitment to innovation in teaching and curriculum development.
- Exposure to AI-enabled HR, HR Analytics, Digital HR, and emerging HR technologies will be an added advantage.

Preferred Profile

- Candidates with degrees from premier institutions and an excellent research profile.
- International teaching, research, or industry exposure.
- Experience in accreditation, ranking exercises, and institution-building initiatives.

Compensation

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, research credentials, and University norms. Exceptional candidates may be offered higher compensation.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
