Role Overview
Ensure on-time, cost-effective, and quality-compliant execution of end-to-end garment manufacturing orders for Fynd Create by seamlessly coordinating between clients, internal teams, and manufacturing partners, thereby maximizing customer satisfaction, production efficiency, and repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end order management for assigned clients from tech pack/brief receipt to final dispatch, ensuring adherence to committed timelines, quality standards, and cost targets.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to clarify product specifications, bill of materials (BOM), trims, packaging, and labeling requirements for each garment style.
- Plan and monitor production schedules in alignment with capacity, line planning, and material availability, proactively identifying risks and driving corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Liaise daily with factories, vendors, and ancillary suppliers (fabrics, trims, accessories, printing, embroidery, washing) to track order status, resolve issues, and ensure on-time execution.
- Support sourcing and allocation of vendors/factories based on product category, price, lead time, and capability, while maintaining updated vendor performance data.
- Coordinate pre-production activities including sample development, fit approvals, size set approvals, and pre-production (PP) meetings, ensuring all approvals are documented and communicated.
- Monitor in-line and final quality through coordination with quality control/QA teams, ensuring compliance with client quality standards, AQL levels, and RIL/Fynd Create guidelines.
- Track material and finished goods inventory for ongoing orders, ensuring accurate data in systems, minimizing excess/shortages,
and supporting inventory reconciliation post-order completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date order tracking reports, T&A; (Time & Action) calendars, and MIS dashboards, providing data-driven updates to management and clients.
- Manage changes in client requirements (quantity, design, trims, delivery dates) through structured change control, assessing impact on cost and timelines and communicating clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to support costing, purchase orders (POs), invoices, and payment follow-ups related to assigned orders/vendors.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities in merchandising and production coordination, contributing to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for Fynd Create’s manufacturing-as-a-service model.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in merchandising or production coordination in garment/apparel manufacturing or related textile/apparel industry
- Hands-on experience managing end-to-end orders with factories/vendors for apparel products
- Demonstrated experience handling T&A; calendars, production follow-ups, and quality coordination
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and email-based client/vendor communication
Preferred
- Experience working with manufacturing-as-a-service, contract manufacturing, or multi-brand production environments
- Exposure to digital manufacturing or order management platforms (e.g., PLM, ERP, or similar tools)
- Experience with both domestic and export garment production cycles
- Prior experience working with rapid-fashion, D2C brands, or e-commerce apparel businesses
- Certification or formal training in merchandising, apparel production, or supply chain will be an advantage
