Sr. Solution Consultant –

Role Overview:

The Senior Solution Consultant – HR Service Delivery (HRSD) is the senior functional expert within the HRSD Consulting organization, responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex implementations, post-go-live engagements, and strategic customer initiatives. This role provides technical leadership, solution governance, and consulting expertise while ensuring delivery excellence across customer engagements.

As the primary functional escalation point for the consulting team, the Lead Solution Consultant guides Solution Consultants and Senior Solution Consultants through complex solution design, configuration challenges, and customer escalations. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Consultants, and Project Management, this role drives solution quality, promotes implementation best practices, and continuously improves consulting methodologies.

This is a hands-on leadership role that influences through expertise rather than direct people management and plays a key role in developing consulting talent while remaining actively engaged in customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Leadership

- Lead the design and delivery of complex HRSD implementations, optimization initiatives, and post-go-live consulting engagements.
- Review and approve solution designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, and alignment with product capabilities and implementation best practices.
- Provide architectural and functional guidance for workflows, case management, document management, knowledge management, automation, security, integrations, APIs, and SSO.

Customer Advisory

- Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, providing strategic guidance and HRSD best practices.
- Lead executive discovery workshops, solution reviews, and architecture discussions.




- Recommend process improvements and product capabilities that maximize customer value and adoption.

Functional Leadership & Escalations

- Act as the primary functional escalation point for complex implementation and production issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolution efforts with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, and Support.
- Review and validate product defect documentation before Engineering escalation.

Delivery Excellence

- Establish implementation standards, consulting best practices, and solution governance across the HRSD Consulting organization.
- Conduct solution quality reviews, implementation health checks, and deployment readiness assessments.
- Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Mentoring & Enablement

- Mentor Solution Consultants, Senior Solution Consultants, and new Solution Consultants (SC2), providing technical guidance and coaching.
- Lead internal enablement sessions, knowledge sharing, and best practice initiatives.
- Promote continuous learning and consulting excellence across the HRSD practice.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Consultants, Support, and Project Management to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Influence product enhancements and implementation methodologies through customer and field feedback.

Practice Development

- Develop reusable implementation assets, templates, standards, and playbooks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve consulting quality, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with HRSD product releases, emerging capabilities, and industry trends to continually evolve consulting practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8–10+ years of enterprise SaaS consulting or implementation experience, including significant HR Service Delivery experience.
- Demonstrated success leading complex HRSD implementations and post-go-live engagements.
- Deep expertise in workflows,



business processes, security, automation, document management, integrations, APIs, and SSO.
- Proven ability to lead functional escalations and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with enterprise HR or HCM platforms such as UKG HRSD, ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar SaaS solutions.
- Experience implementing enterprise integrations and automation solutions.
- Experience mentoring consultants and driving consulting best practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, or modern implementation methodologies.
