Key Responsibilities

- Schedule patient appointments with hospitals and surgery centers.
- Coordinate procedures and maintain scheduling calendars.
- Relay patient messages to physicians promptly and accurately.
- Send pathology results to patients as instructed by providers.
- Answer and respond to patient calls, emails, and voicemails.
- Manage referrals and coordinate with external healthcare facilities.
- Update and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Verify insurance eligibility (preferred).
- Obtain prior authorizations (preferred).
- Assist with medical billing-related administrative tasks (preferred).
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Required Qualifications

- Prior experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant for a U.S. healthcare practice.
- Experience working with a Gastroenterology (GI) practice is strongly preferred.




- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience with U.S. medical terminology.
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet work workplace.

Preferred Skills

- Experience scheduling procedures with hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
- Knowledge of pathology workflows.
- Experience handling patient communications.
- Insurance verification and prior authorization experience.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
