Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Curriculum Instruction: Teaching core subjects like reading (phonics), writing (sentence structure), basic math (number sense, addition/subtraction), and basic science concepts.
- Classroom Management: Establishing procedures and rules to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Monitoring student progress through assessments, record-keeping, and conducting parent-teacher meetings.
- Learning Environments: Developing engaging and organized classrooms, including setting up learning centers for activities like reading and phonics games.
- Differentiation: Providing personalized support to meet the diverse needs of young learners.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Key Skills: Strong communication, patience, creativity, and classroom management abilities.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree (such as B.Ed) is generally required, with specific qualifications like D.El.Ed sometimes preferred for primary levels.
- Experience: Experience in early childhood education or primary school teaching is highly valued.
