Main purpose of role

The person will be responsible for maintenance of WebReporter components & providing solution for across all products vulnerabilities and fixing them & should be able guide product teams to address vulnerabilities, Application security using different security

tools.

Key Role Responsibilities

Corrective & Preventive Maintenance for WebReporter components with application security (Level 3 support)

- Designing and developing current feature, bug fixes and maintenance of WebReporter.

- WebReporter most important issues (P1 & P2) within defined SLAs

- Product update deliveries (integration, build, delivery)

- Serving as a subject matter expert on applications security and cloud cyber risk

- Troubleshooting problems with cloud infrastructure

- Stay up to date with security news, keeping an eye out for the latest vulnerabilities and remedies emerging in the field.

- Supporting and enabling product team members with technical guidance

- Application security (OWASP best practices, zero trust, cryptographic etc.)

- Providing technical security support for cloud-native and third-party security services and resolve service-related issues through research, troubleshooting, and third-party security solution vendors.

- Perform code analysis to identify security vulnerabilities and check compliance with secure coding guidelines. This includes recommendation and creation of static code analysis tools.

- Actively liaise with the development team to ensure a secure architecture.

- Liaise with cross functional and remote location teams.

Full-stack Java developer & Application security expert





- Experience developing apps using Java, Spring boot, GWT, Linux, SQL, Tomcat, Java script, Git

- Experience in microservices security, third party framework and tools security, Docker and docker image security

- Experience developing and debugging multi-threaded apps

- Experience in Kubernetes/OpenShift

- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to quickly learn complex systems and new technologies

- Strong Logical and problem-solving skills

Preferable

Telecom domain

- Working knowledge of DevOps.

- Contribute to the building, operating, and maintaining of the cloud security infrastructure to improve prevent, detect and response capabilities.

Experience & Expertise

A person with B. Tech in computer science or equivalent or MCA having over 8 years of experience in Java apps development out of that minimum 4 years should be on application and cloud/web Security

Must be passionate about security and staying ahead of all possible threats to the system. , fluent in spoken and written English, communicative and looking to work in an international collaborative

environment
