Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT Framework, Linux, and Power BI to build scalable data transformation pipelines and modern cloud data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ETL development, SQL optimization, data modeling, and CI/CD-based DataOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable DBT models for data transformation.
- Design and optimize Snowflake data warehouse architecture, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
- Optimize SQL queries, DBT models, and data pipeline performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for DBT deployments and Snowflake schema changes.
- Create dimensional data models (Star Schema,



Dimensional Modeling).
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Work with Linux/Unix shell scripting and scheduling tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills

- 8–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
- Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.
- Experience in Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Knowledge of Data Modeling techniques (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or DBT Cloud.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar.
- Exposure to cloud platforms is preferred.
