Job Title: Senior Building Design Architect

Job Description:

- Lead the architectural design of residential, commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects.
- Develop concept designs and carry projects through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers, as well as clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Review and approve design submissions prepared by junior architects and provide technical guidance.
- Attend client meetings, present design proposals, and manage design revisions.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality during the design phase.
- Support construction by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs,



and conducting site visits when required.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to improving design standards within the firm.

Typical Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Licensed architect or eligible for registration (depending on the country).
- 3–5+ years of experience in architectural design and project delivery.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design practices.
