This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a strong command of the English language and are eager to build a career in academic or publishing services. You will receive training and mentorship to develop your editorial skills while working on high-quality content.
What You’ll Do
- Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity.
- Ensure content follows editorial guidelines and customer-specific instructions.
- Identify and correct language, formatting, and consistency issues.
- Learn and apply style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) and other editorial standards.
- Work closely with senior editors and team members to resolve editorial queries.
- Maintain quality and accuracy while meeting assigned deadlines.
Skills Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Robust attention to detail and passion for quality.
- Good grammar, vocabulary, and proofreading skills.
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is preferred.
