Avya Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual software testing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of QA processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

- Manage end-to-end manual testing activities including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Prepare and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects and ensure timely closure.
- Work closely with development and product teams to maintain quality standards.

- Ensure proper documentation of test cases, defects, and test results.
- Guide and support junior QA team members by sharing best practices.
- Communicate testing status, risks, and quality updates clearly to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and continuous quality improvement.

Skills & Abilities

Must-Have Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium,



Playwright, Cypress, or Appium is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered QA/testing tools for test case generation, automation support, reporting, and productivity enhancement is preferred.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Experience in manual testing; knowledge of automation tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Basic understanding of Automation Testing tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of API Testing and SQL queries
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Exposure to AI-powered QA/testing tools
- Experience in web and mobile application testing
