We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who can turn cutting edge research into reliable, scalable systems. You’ll own the operational backbone for agentic AI, building, running and optimising a fleet of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that power enterprise grade AI agents. Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a self-hosted MCP server stack
- Aggregate multiple MCP servers into a single unified endpoint
- Implement robust load-balancing (similar to Nginx) to distribute traffic efficiently
- Monitor, profile and tune agent latency and throughput
- Automate deployment pipelines, CI/CD and rollback procedures
- Introduce observability (metrics, tracing, alerting) across the MCP estate
- Dig deep into production issues,



perform root-cause analysis and drive long-term fixes
- Champion post-mortems and share learnings with the team
- Partner with research, product and security teams to evolve our agentic AI platform
- Brainstorm, prototype and iterate on new ideas and tooling

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or demonstrably equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of AI-agent architectures and the Model Context Protocol
- Proficiency in at least one scripting (Python/Bash)
- Proven track record of building or operating distributed back-end systems (micro-services, message queues, load balancers)
- Comfortable taking the initiative and able to identify the next step without waiting for direction
- Transparent, empathetic communicator who enjoys brainstorming and pair design sessions
