Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years in hostel management or similar supervisory role

Responsibility:

1. Administration and Management

- Oversee daily operations of the hostel.
- Maintain records of resident students, attendance, room allocation, and inventory.
- Coordinate with college/university authorities or hostel management on relevant issues.
- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and catering services.

2. Student Welfare and Discipline

- Ensure residents follow hostel rules and regulations.
- Address grievances, resolve conflicts, and mediate disputes among residents.
- Monitor student behavior and report serious misconduct to authorities.
- Support the emotional and mental well-being of students, often acting as a counselor.

3. Safety and Security

- Ensure the physical safety of residents by enforcing entry/exit rules.




- Maintain emergency contact protocols and conduct safety drills if needed.
- Monitor visitors and ensure proper entry logs.
- Coordinate with security personnel to maintain a safe environment.

4. Health and Hygiene

- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness in rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Assist residents during medical emergencies and help arrange medical care.
- Monitor food quality and dining facility hygiene (if applicable).
