Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing the Operation Theatre, assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, and ensuring that all OT equipment and instruments are properly maintained and sterilized.

Eligibility

- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a related allied healthcare field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an OT Technician.
- Knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization procedures, and infection control.
- BLS/ACLS certification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre before surgical procedures.
- Arrange and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgeries.
- Operate and maintain OT equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Monitor sterile techniques and maintain infection control standards.




- Prepare patients for surgery and assist with patient positioning.
- Maintain accurate OT records and inventory of surgical supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the Operation Theatre.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently during surgical procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for smooth OT operations.
