Position: Director / Dean – Research & Development (R&D;)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the institution's research, innovation, and development initiatives.
- Promote and secure government-funded and industry-sponsored research projects.
- Increase high-quality research publications (SCI/Scopus), patents, books, and book chapters.
- Drive product/prototype development, commercialization, consultancy, and interdisciplinary research.
- Establish and strengthen Centers of Excellence, advanced laboratories, and research infrastructure.
- Develop collaborations through MoUs with industries, universities, research organizations, and government agencies.
- Support startups, incubation, innovation, internships, and industry-linked student projects.
- Organize faculty and student skill-development programs, FDPs, workshops, and research training.
- Monitor R&D; performance,



ensure compliance with institutional policies, and prepare reports for accreditation, ranking, and regulatory bodies.
- Foster a strong research culture, innovation, student engagement, and discipline across the institution.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with Professor-level experience as per AICTE/UGC norms.
- Proven record of funded projects, research publications, patents, consultancy, and academic leadership.
- Robust leadership, industry networking, project management, and research administration skills.
