About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Machine Designer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design and be proficient in SolidWorks, contributing to the design, development, and improvement of machine components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and machine parts using SolidWorks
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews
- Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility
- Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
- Assist in preparing GA (General Arrangement) drawings and assembly drawings

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in machine/mechanical design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of GD&T;, tolerancing,



and engineering drawing standards
- Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal)
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

- Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD tools
- Exposure to FEA/simulation tools
- Knowledge of ISO/BIS standards
