About the Role

Auraved School, a CBSE-affiliated school in New Kalyani Nagar, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the upkeep, safety, and smooth functioning of our campus. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors, while managing maintenance teams and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily maintenance of classrooms, labs, playgrounds, common areas, and the campus building
- Manage electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, and backup power systems
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to avoid disruptions during school hours
- Supervise housekeeping, security, gardening, and maintenance staff
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, health, and CBSE infrastructure norms
- Manage facility-related budgets, procurement, and inventory of supplies and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues, including during school events and emergencies




- Maintain playground equipment, sports facilities, and outdoor areas
- Oversee setup and breakdown of furniture/equipment for school events, exams, and functions
- Maintain records of AMC contracts, equipment warranties, and maintenance logs

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in facilities/maintenance management, preferably in a school or institutional setting
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Experience managing a team and coordinating with vendors
- Understanding of school safety and child-safety protocols
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to be available during school hours and for occasional emergencies
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, maintenance tracking tools)
