Production Assistant

Must-Haves for This Role

Education: ITI in electronics.

Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in PCB rework.

Soldering: Execute precision soldering techniques on electronic assemblies, PCBs for SMD and

through hole components.

Desoldering: Safely remove components without damaging board circuit traces.

BOM Checking: Verify engineering components against official Bill of Materials.

PCB Components Knowledge: Identify chip components and through-hole components

accurately.

Candidate preferred location: Thane, Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.

Joining: Immediate joiners preferred. (15 to 30 days max)

Key Responsibilities

PCB Rework: Perform track checking, relay track checking, and IC checking according to

engineering schematics.

Trace Repair: Reconstruct broken circuit board tracks and repair safely.

Visual Inspection: Examine reworked boards under digital microscopes to catch soldering

defects.

Defect Logging: Maintain detailed technical records of component failures and rework actions.

Quality Assurance:



Conduct post-rework continuity tests to ensure full board functional

recovery.

Expectation:

Core Objective: Meeting or exceeding the quarterly board yield and quality targets.

Consultative Role: Focus on diagnosing the underlying hardware problem rather than just

replacing components.

Expert Authority: Act as the recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) for soldering and rework

standards.

Process Ownership: Manage the entire rework journey from initial fault identification through

final functional validation.

Hike on current CTC, based strictly on industry experience, core skills, and technical

evaluation.
