Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Teacher to inspire students through dance education. The ideal candidate should be skilled in teaching various dance forms, choreographing performances, and creating a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct engaging dance classes for students of different age groups.
- Teach dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, posture, and performance skills.
- Choreograph routines for school events, annual day functions, competitions, and cultural programs.
- Prepare students for performances and inter-school dance competitions.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills.
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence through dance.
- Ensure student safety during practice sessions and maintain classroom discipline.
- Organize rehearsals and manage costumes, props, and music for performances.
- Maintain attendance records and submit student progress reports when required.
- Collaborate with school management, teachers, and parents regarding student development and event planning.




- Stay updated with current dance trends and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning workplace for all students.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or certification in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a school or dance academy (preferred).
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles such as Western, Bollywood, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Classical, or Folk.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong choreography and performance planning abilities.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

- Experience preparing students for stage performances and competitions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of different skill levels.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching techniques.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
