About the Role
We are looking to hire a motivated Accounts & Audit Assistant to support audit and compliance-related work. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting and auditing knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow toward professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and assist the audit team with audit procedures under supervision
- Prepare and support preparation of tax returns (data compilation, working papers, documentation)
- Assist with tax filings and statutory compliance submissions as required
- Verify and organize supporting documents required for audit and tax purposes
- Maintain audit and tax-related records, files, and documentation for review
- Support preparation of working papers, checklists, and filing documents
- Coordinate with internal teams for required information and documents
- Ensure accuracy,
confidentiality, and compliance with applicable guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce/Accounting/Finance or related field, or currently pursuing a degree
- Or pursuing any professional qualifications** such as:
- CA / CMA / CS (or equivalent)
- ACCA / CPA / IFRS/any audit-related certifications (or similar)
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel / Word) and comfort with accounting software (if any)
- Positive attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team
