AI GRAPHIC DESIGNER, CONCEPT ARTIST & STORYBOARD ARTIST

Project: English-Language Hollywood-Style Feature Film

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are producing an ambitious English-language, Hollywood-style feature film using AI filmmaking, animation, concept development and advanced cinematic production techniques.

We are looking for a highly creative and imaginative AI Graphic Designer, Concept Artist and Storyboard Artist who can transform scripts, written descriptions, production discussions, character references and original sketches into professional cinematic visuals.

This is not a regular graphic-design role. The selected candidate will be involved in the complete visual-development process of the movie, including:

- Character development
- Original sketching and concept art
- Movie world and environment development
- Location, prop, vehicle and technology design
- AI image generation and enhancement
- Detailed storyboard creation
- Animation reference preparation
- Visual consistency across the complete movie

The candidate will work closely with the Producer, Director, Writer, Animators and other members of the production team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

- Convert character photographs and reference images provided by the production team into high-quality cinematic AI characters.
- Create character concept art, costume variations, expressions, poses and multiple-angle reference images.
- Maintain consistency in each character’s face, hairstyle, costume, body structure, age, expressions and overall appearance.
- Convert original hand-drawn or digital sketches into polished AI-generated character visuals.
- Prepare high-resolution and 4K-quality character references for film and animation production.

2. MOVIE WORLD AND ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT

- Help design and develop the complete visual world of the movie.
- Create original concepts for planets, futuristic cities, spaceships, laboratories, buildings, landscapes, interiors, vehicles, technology, props and surrounding environments.
- Read and understand the script before developing visual concepts.
- Participate in creative discussions with the Producer, Director, Writer and Animation Team.
- Convert written descriptions and verbal discussions into original visual designs.
- Ensure that all locations, environments, technology and props match the story, timeline, mood and cinematic style of the movie.
- Maintain visual consistency across the entire movie world.

3. ORIGINAL SKETCHING AND CONCEPT ART

- Create original hand-drawn or digitally drawn sketches based on the script and production discussions.
- Visualise characters, locations, objects and scenes using strong imagination.
- Convert rough ideas into professional concept sketches.
- Scan or digitally transfer original artwork into AI platforms for enhancement.
- Improve sketches using AI tools by adding realistic lighting, textures, atmosphere, depth, scale and cinematic detailing.
- Create original artwork specifically for the movie instead of depending entirely on copied images or ready-made templates.

4. STORYBOARD CREATION

- Read and understand the complete story, screenplay, scenes and action sequences.
- Create detailed shot-by-shot storyboards after the characters,



locations and movie world are finalised.
- Storyboards must clearly show:
- Camera angles
- Camera movements
- Shot sizes
- Character positions
- Character actions and expressions
- Background environments
- Lighting and atmosphere
- Emotional moments
- Action sequences
- Visual-effects requirements
- Scene transitions
- Continuity between shots
- Work closely with the Director and Animation Team to ensure that the storyboard can be converted into cinematic animation.
- Revise storyboard panels according to creative and technical feedback.
- Prepare clean and properly organised storyboard files for production use.

5. AI IMAGE GENERATION AND ENHANCEMENT

- Use professional AI tools to create high-quality cinematic images.
- Convert original sketches and concepts into detailed AI-generated visuals.
- Create high-resolution and 4K-quality assets wherever required.
- Perform image generation, editing, retouching, compositing, inpainting, outpainting, background replacement, object correction, lighting enhancement and image upscaling.
- Maintain face, character, costume, prop, vehicle and environment consistency across multiple images.
- Develop effective prompts and workflows for repeatable and consistent results.
- Properly organise prompts, reference images, drafts, approved designs and final production files.

6. COMPLETE PRODUCTION COLLABORATION

The selected candidate will be involved throughout the complete visual-development process of the movie.

The candidate will be expected to:

- Attend regular online production and creative meetings.
- Discuss scenes with the Producer, Director, Writer and Animators.
- Understand ideas communicated through scripts, documents, reference images and verbal discussions.
- Suggest creative and practical visual solutions.
- Convert approved ideas into sketches, concept art, AI images and storyboards.
- Make changes and revisions based on production feedback.
- Maintain visual continuity throughout the complete movie.
- Provide animation-ready visual references to the production team.
- Remain involved from initial concept development to final storyboard preparation.

MANDATORY EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

The candidate must have completed at least one of the following:

- Diploma in Fine Arts

OR

- Bachelor of Fine Arts

OR

- Master of Fine Arts

This qualification is mandatory.

Candidates without either a Diploma in Fine Arts or a Bachelor of Fine Arts or Master of Fine Arts will not be considered.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience in animation, filmmaking, storyboarding, concept art, visual development, gaming, advertising or a related creative field.
- Experience creating artwork after reading a story, script, screenplay or creative brief.
- Experience creating original sketches using personal imagination.
- Experience developing visuals and graphics from written stories or production discussions.




- Experience creating storyboards for animated films, short films, advertisements, games, cinematic videos or similar projects.
- Practical professional experience with AI image-generation and image-enhancement tools.

ESSENTIAL ARTISTIC SKILLS

The candidate must have:

- Solid hand-drawing or digital-sketching ability.
- Excellent imagination and visualisation skills.
- Ability to transform written ideas into original cinematic visuals.
- Strong understanding of composition, anatomy, perspective, scale, lighting, colour, depth and environment design.
- Good knowledge of cinematic framing and visual storytelling.
- Understanding of camera angles, camera movements, shot composition and storyboard structure.
- Ability to create original characters, locations, environments, props, vehicles and cinematic scenes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain visual consistency throughout the project.
- Ability to accept feedback and complete multiple revisions.
- Ability to organise large numbers of visual production assets.
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines and production schedules.

MANDATORY SOFTWARE AND AI KNOWLEDGE

The candidate must have practical working knowledge of professional graphic-design, digital-drawing, storyboarding and AI image-generation tools.

Graphic Design and Drawing Software

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Krita, Procreate or similar digital-drawing software
- Storyboard Pro or similar storyboarding software
- Basic knowledge of Blender or another 3D visualisation tool will be preferred

AI Image-Generation and Enhancement Tools

The candidate must have practical experience with several modern AI tools, such as:

- Nano Banana Pro / Google Gemini image tools
- Midjourney
- Stable Diffusion
- ComfyUI
- FLUX
- Adobe Firefly
- Leonardo AI
- Runway
- AI image-upscaling tools
- AI inpainting and outpainting tools
- Face-consistency workflows
- Character-consistency workflows
- AI image-editing and enhancement tools

Knowing only one basic AI tool will not be sufficient.

The candidate must be able to combine original drawing, professional graphic-design skills and multiple AI tools to create cinematic and production-ready results.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

- Good spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Good Hindi communication skills are also mandatory.
- The candidate must be able to understand English scripts, screenplays, production documents and creative instructions.
- The candidate must be comfortable participating in online production meetings in both English and Hindi.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position.

The candidate may work from any location but must have:

- A suitable computer or professional workstation
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Access to the required design and AI software
- Availability for regular online production meetings
- Ability to provide daily or scheduled work updates
- A skilled working environment
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines and production schedules

For work coordination, productivity tracking, project security, and progress monitoring, the company may install approved work-monitoring or screen-sharing software on the candidate’s work system.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
