We are looking for a dedicated and organized Librarian to manage the school library and foster a love for reading and research among students.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the school library and maintain an organized collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the library collection and recommend appropriate books to students and staff.
- Assist students forGrades 1-10 in locating and using library resources effectively.
- Respond to students' queries related to books, library services, and reading recommendations.
- Promote reading habits through library activities, book displays, reading programmes, and literary events.
- Maintain library records, cataloguing, circulation, and inventory using library management systems.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and periodic stock verification of library resources.




- Support teachers by providing reference materials and resources aligned with the curriculum.
- Maintain a quiet, welcoming, and student-friendly library environment.

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.) and Master of Library Science (M.Lib.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience as a school librarian will be an added advantage.
