Job Description: Workshop Manager

Role Objective

The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire service department operations at the Geeta Bhawan facility. This role focuses on maximizing productivity, ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs, and maintaining MSIL (Maruti Suzuki India Limited) standards for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

1. Key Responsibilities1. Operational Excellence & MSIL Compliance

- Manage day-to-day workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow from vehicle intake to final delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to MSIL service standards and quality control protocols.
- Monitor and maintain workshop equipment, tools, and inventory levels.

2. Performance & Financial Management

- Drive workshop revenue by optimizing labor productivity and parts sales.
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), productivity, and bay utilization.
- Review and verify incentive disbursements for service technicians and support staff.

3. Team Leadership & Development

- Supervise a team of Service Advisors, Floor Supervisors, and Technicians.
- Coordinate with the Group Technical Development Manager (TDM)



to identify training gaps and schedule technical workshops.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage conflict resolution within the team.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment

4. Customer Relationship Management

- Resolve high-level customer grievances and technical escalations promptly.
- Ensure high scores in MSIL service audits and customer feedback surveys.
- Collaborate with the CRM team to improve service reminder follow-ups and repeat-repair ratios.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: 8–12 years of experience in automotive service, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a Maruti Suzuki dealership (Arena/Nexa).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Maruti Suzuki vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and the DMS (Dealer Management System).
- Soft Skills: Solid leadership, analytical problem-solving, and excellent communication skills in Hindi and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
