Job Summary

Responsible for maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and smooth operation of EOT cranes, gantry cranes, utility equipment, compressors, pumps, cooling towers, hydraulic systems, and related mechanical equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of EOT and Gantry Cranes.
- Inspect crane wire ropes, hooks, brakes, gearboxes, wheels, and couplings.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility systems.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment quickly.
- Replace bearings, shafts, pulleys, chains, and mechanical components.
- Maintain compressors, pumps, cooling towers, and water systems.
- Perform alignment, fitting, assembly, and dismantling activities.
- Ensure lubrication of cranes and utility equipment.
- Prepare maintenance reports and checklists.
- Follow LOTO procedures and safety standards.
- Coordinate with production and electrical teams during maintenance activities.

Qualification

- ITI Fitter / Mechanical
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)

Experience

- 2–10 Years in Steel Plant, Ductile Iron Pipe Plant, Foundry, Cement Plant, Power Plant, or Heavy Engineering Industry.
