Position: Import Executive
Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Job Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end import shipments (Air & Sea).
- Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, transporters, and customers.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including Bill of Lading, Delivery Order, Invoice, Packing List, and other shipping documents.
- Follow up on shipment status and provide timely updates to customers.
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import regulations.
- Prepare job files, maintain shipment records, and update internal systems.
- Verify vendor invoices and coordinate with the finance team for billing.
- Resolve shipment-related issues and customer queries efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of shipments while maintaining service quality.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.




- 2–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding (Import Operations).
- Valuable knowledge of Sea Freight and Air Freight import procedures.
- Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and freight forwarding software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
