Job Title: Night Security Guard

Location: KV Institute of Management and Information Studies

Department: Administration / Facility Management

Working Hours: Night Shift (5:30 PM – 8:00 AM)

Job Purpose

To ensure the safety, security, and protection of company premises, assets, and personnel during night hours by maintaining vigilance, monitoring activities, and responding promptly to any security incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Check all entry and exit points, doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured.
- Monitor alarm systems throughout the shift.
- Record all observations, incidents, and activities in the daily security logbook.
- Verify and document visitor entries during night hours (if applicable).
- Respond to alarms or suspicious activities and report immediately to management.
- Ensure that fire safety systems and emergency exits are functional and unobstructed.
- Support emergency response procedures (fire, theft, medical emergency,



etc.).
- Maintain communication with other security personnel and report shift handover details accurately.
- Ensure all lights, electricals, and doors are checked before the end of the shift.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum: 10th / 12th pass (or equivalent).
- Prior experience as a security guard or in a similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and equipment (CCTV, alarms, etc.).
- Physically fit with good observation and alertness.
- Honest, disciplined, and punctual.
- Ability to write clear reports and communicate effectively.

Other Requirements

- Should be available to work exclusively during night hours.
- Must wear company-issued uniform and carry ID at all times.
- Should maintain professional behavior and confidentiality at all times.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
