Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Services like Lambda, Glue, Step, Event Bridge, Python and Terraform. Good Communication Skills

Job Description :

- Act as hands on technical lead across data engineering workstreams
- Design, build, and optimise large scale data pipelines and data lake solutions
- Build and maintain AWS native data platforms
- Implement DevOps and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure configuration as code principles are consistently applied
- Embed automated testing and data quality best practices
- Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers within the team

Required Skills & Experience

- Proven Lead / Principal level Engineering experience in a large or enterprise organisation
- Extensive experience with AWS data services, including:

Glue

S3

Lake Formation

EventBridge

Lambda

- Strong experience building data pipelines and data lake architectures
- Solid DevOps experience including Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins
- Working knowledge of AWS SageMaker Studio
- Advanced programming skills in Python
- Experience with API integration and configuration as code approaches
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to investigate and reconcile large datasets
- Experience implementing automated testing methodologies
