Odoo Developer

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and implementing Odoo solutions to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development

- Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules and applications
- Implement Odoo solutions using Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
- Develop frontend components using Owl Framework, QWeb templates, and Tailwind CSS
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
- Customize Odoo views, workflows, reports, and dashboards

Module Customization & Implementation

- Customize existing Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR)
- Develop new modules from scratch based on business requirements
- Implement security rules, access controls, and user permissions
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and payment gateways

Database Management

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL database structures
- Write effective SQL queries and database functions
- Perform data migration and import/export operations
- Maintain database performance and security

Technical Skills Required

Core Odoo Skills

- 2+ years experience with Odoo 18 (earlier versions 15-17 acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of Odoo framework architecture and ORM




- Experience with Odoo module development and customization
- Proficiency in Odoo deployment and maintenance

Programming Languages

- Python (advanced level)
- JavaScript (Owl Framework experience preferred)
- XML for views and QWeb templates
- SQL/PostgreSQL for database operations

Frontend Technologies

- Owl Component Framework
- QWeb Templating
- Tailwind CSS (as evidenced in your code)
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+

Additional Technologies

- Git version control
- Linux/Ubuntu server administration
- Docker (optional but preferred)
- REST API development
- Postman for API testing

Soft Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environment
- Good documentation practices
- Client-facing communication skills

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of professional Odoo development experience
- Odoo technical certification (preferred but not required)
- Portfolio of completed Odoo projects

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Odoo.sh platform
- Knowledge of Odoo Studio
- Experience with multi-company, multi-currency setups
- Performance optimization experience
- Unit testing and debugging skills
