Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator Trainer to train and mentor candidates in garment manufacturing, fashion designing, embroidery, handicrafts, and entrepreneurship development. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training, ensuring candidates gain industry-relevant skills and become employment or self-employment ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training on industrial and domestic sewing machines.
- Teach garment construction, stitching techniques, pattern making, and alterations.
- Provide basic to advanced knowledge of Fashion Designing concepts.
- Train candidates in hand embroidery, machine embroidery, and decorative stitching techniques.
- Conduct sessions on handicrafts, textile crafts, and value-added products.
- Guide trainees on fabric selection, cutting, measurement, and quality control.
- Deliver entrepreneurship and self-employment training, including business setup, costing, pricing, marketing, and customer management.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
- Organize practical demonstrations, projects, and exhibitions of trainee work.




- Support placement and livelihood opportunities for trained candidates.
- Ensure adherence to NSDC/Skill India curriculum and training standards.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Designing, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Design, or related field.
- Certification in Sewing Machine Operation, Fashion Design, or Skill Development preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in training or garment manufacturing.

Salary

As per experience and organizational norms.

Pay: Up to ₹29,998.90 per month
