The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts. The role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow by monitoring outstanding balances, resolving billing discrepancies, and coordinating with internal departments and customers to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare Accounts Receivable aging reports and customer account statements.
- Allocate customer payments and maintain accurate receivable records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
- Monitor customer credit terms and escalate overdue accounts when necessary.
- Support month-end Accounts Receivable closing activities.
- Maintain professional communication with customers regarding payments and account balances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
- Robust knowledge of invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is preferred.
