Position: Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience: 2–4 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.

Job Summary

We are seeking a agile Sales Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in Industrial Automation sales. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in selling PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, VFD, Control Panels, and Automation Solutions to customers across manufacturing, process industries, OEMs, and EPC companies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage business opportunities for Industrial Automation products and solutions.
- Generate new leads and acquire customers through field visits, networking, and market research.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and proposals.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales orders.
- Coordinate with the design, proposal, and execution teams for timely project completion.




- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Update CRM/ERP with customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.

Required Skills

- Experience in selling PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, VFD, Industrial Automation, Control Panels, MCC, PCC, or Instrumentation Solutions.
- Strong understanding of automation systems and industrial processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and business development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP software.
