Global Fund Operations & Compliance Manager

Location: Surat | Type: Full-time

About the Role

Own the fund's operations, compliance, and investor coordination — keeping day-to-day fund activity running smoothly while ensuring full alignment with SEBI (AIF) Regulations, the PPM, and FEMA/ODI norms for overseas investments.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Operations

· Maintain investor database, statements of accounts, and capital call/distribution schedules

· Prepare fund flow statements and review AUM reports

· Coordinate NAV/valuation checks with fund accountants, RTA, and custodians

Compliance

· Ensure investments, deals, and fund activity comply with SEBI AIF Regulations, the PPM, and internal policy

· Monitor portfolio limits (concentration, diversification, leverage, related-party exposure)

· Review deal documents (term sheets, SHA/SSA, side letters) and flag conflicts/related-party transactions to the IC

· Track FEMA/ODI compliance for overseas investments

· Maintain pre-investment checklists and sign-offs; prepare compliance reports for IC, Trustee, and Board

· Support statutory/PPM audits and track regulatory updates





Legal & Stakeholder Coordination

· Handle legal queries on fund documents and investor agreements

· Coordinate with investors and founders on fund matters, including transfer queries

· Liaise with Legal, Fund Managers, Fund Accounting, RTA, and auditors

Qualifications

· Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CA/CFA preferred)

· NISM Series XIX-C (AIF) preferred, or willing to obtain within 3 months

· 3–7 years in fund operations, compliance, or fund management (AIF/PMS/MF/PE-VC); cross-border experience a plus

Skills

· Strong grasp of SEBI (AIF) Regulations, 2012 and FEMA/ODI norms

· Comfortable reading deal documents from a compliance lens

· Strong Excel and analytical skills; familiar with fund ops (capital calls, NAV, reporting)

· Strong communication and stakeholder management
