Requirements and Skills:

- Proven work experience in software quality assurance

- Proven work experience in SDLC & STLC

- Should have experience in manual testing

- Experience in following Bug Life Cycle

- Experience in working with Project management tools like JIRA etc.

- Hands-on experience with black box testing techniques

- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies & processes

- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

- Track quality assurance metrics, like Bug Leakage, Defect Densities and Open Defects count

- Stay up-to-date with recent testing tools and test strategies

- Ad-on advantage if having automated testing tools knowledge
