The Industrial Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and preventing workplace accidents in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities :-

1. Safety Management & Compliance

- Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (Factory Act, OSHA standards, local safety norms)
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

- Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

3. Training & Awareness

- Conduct safety induction programs for new employees
- Organize regular safety training, toolbox talks, and mock drills
- Promote safety awareness across all levels of staff

4. Incident Investigation

- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions




- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective measures
- Maintain records of incidents and safety performance

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain safety records, checklists, and compliance documents
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections

6. Emergency Preparedness

- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Coordinate fire drills and evacuation procedures
- Ensure availability and maintenance of firefighting equipment

7. Coordination

- Work closely with project, maintenance, and HR teams
- Liaise with government authorities and safety auditors

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
