Qualification

Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management, Catering, or Hospitality Services; Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with relevant hospital experience.

Professional Experience

1–2 years of experience as a steward or server in a hospital hospitality department, hotel, or corporate food service setup.

Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality food, beverage, and dietary hospitality services directly to patient rooms and guest dining areas, ensuring absolute adherence to hygiene standards, therapeutic dietary requirements, and professional service protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and execute the accurate setup, portioning, and presentation of food trays according to prescribed patient diet charts.

- Deliver meals, beverages, and snacks to patients in their respective rooms promptly, keeping temperature integrity intact.

- Verify patient credentials and cross-check special dietary updates before serving to prevent clinical food distribution errors.

- Provide polite, attentive hospitality service to guest dining lounges and internal executive conference meetings.

- Clear soiled dishes, trays,



and service gear from patient floors efficiently, ensuring strict segregation of general waste and dietary washables.

- Monitor pantry equipment operations and report maintenance or shortage issues immediately to the Shift Supervisor.

- Coordinate closely with clinical nutritionists and kitchen operations teams to process last-minute dietary modifications or adjustments.

- Strong hospitality ethics with an empathetic, customer-first approach.

- Explicit understanding of food safety regulations, hospital sanitization protocols, and grooming benchmarks.

- Good verbal communication and active listening skills.

- Ability to handle immediate patient requests or concerns politely under pressure.

- Dependable team player with strong physical stamina and operational coordination skills.
