TestComp is on the lookout for an exceptional Embedded Software Engineer to help us design, create and ramp up state-of-the-art software systems for our tech-based solutions. As an Embedded Software Engineer at TestComp, you will be a key contributor in a team responsible for delivering high quality, robust software systems.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources by troubleshooting and resolving software defects.
- Perform software validation and testing to ensure systems perform as designed while ensuring software quality.
- Support the development of programmable logic controller (PLC) software.
- Integrate and validate new product designs, and interface with hardware design and development teams.
- Review code and design documents, and assist in providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.




- At least 3 years of working experience in embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification.
- Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
- Knowledge of OS coding techniques, network protocols, and device drivers.
- Excellent knowledge of hardware and software testing methodologies and tools.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail.
