a) Market Research & Analysis

- Monitor daily price movements of edible oils including Palm Oil, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, and related commodities.
- Analyze global and domestic market trends, supply-demand dynamics, import/export activities, and policy developments.
- Track commodity exchanges, government regulations, weather patterns, crop reports, freight trends, and geopolitical developments impacting edible oil markets.
- Conduct competitor and industry analysis.

b) Reporting & Intelligence

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market reports and price outlooks.
- Develop presentations, dashboards, and analytical summaries for management and clients.
- Maintain databases of pricing, trade flows, and market statistics.
- Provide timely market updates and actionable recommendations to trading and sales teams.

c) Data Management

- Collect, organize, and interpret market data from various sources including industry reports, exchanges, trade associations, and government publications.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and internal systems.




- Use Excel and analytical tools for forecasting and trend analysis.

d) Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with traders, brokers, suppliers, and clients for market information gathering.
- Support business development and trading teams with market intelligence.
- Participate in industry meetings, webinars, and conferences when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Agriculture, Business, Statistics, Commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in commodity research, edible oils, agri-commodities, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets and trading fundamentals.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
