A Civil Engineer in interior commercial projects is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising construction and fit-out works for commercial spaces like offices, retail stores, malls, restaurants, and corporate interiors.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee site execution of interior and civil works (flooring, partitions, ceilings, finishes).
- Prepare and review drawings and layouts (civil + interior coordination).
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP teams, and contractors.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and material planning.
- Supervise quality control and workmanship at site.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
- Handle BOQs (Bill of Quantities), estimation, and cost control.
- Monitor vendor performance and procurement activities.
- Conduct site inspections and progress reporting.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of interior fit-out processes (drywall, false ceiling, tiling, painting, etc.)
- Proficiency in software:
- AutoCAD
- MS Excel
- Project management tools (MS Project/Primavera – optional)




- Understanding of materials used in commercial interiors
