Role Overview:
The National Sales Head will lead the company s food business across India, driving revenue growth, distribution expansion, and strategic sales execution across multiple channels.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage national sales operations for the food division.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
Strengthen presence in both modern trade and general trade, with a strong focus on southern markets.
Drive e-commerce channel development and key account management.
Build, mentor,
and lead a large sales team to ensure strong market execution and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to achieve business goals.
Manage a balanced product portfolio across packaged and staple food categories.
Ensure strong trade relationships and effective channel management nationwide.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience: 15 22 years in FMCG / Food / Beverage sectors.
Age Range: 40 45 years preferred.
Proven experience handling large-scale P&L; and national-level sales responsibilities.
Solid track record in distribution expansion and team leadership.
Hands-on exposure to modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce channels.
Prior experience in reputed FMCG organizations with strong systems and brand pedigree.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
