Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute mechanical designs from concept to fabrication backed by thorough engineering analysis.

(40%)

- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on customer designs and recommend realistic design improvements that optimize the HMI experience.

(30%)

- Assist in fabrication, assembly, and testing activities from Proof-of-Concepts to mass production projects.

(10%)

- Collaborate closely with business and engineering teams during the product development cycle to translate customer input into successful, cutting-edge products.

(10%)

- (10%) Travel to customer locations (domestic and international) to provide technical support

Minimum Qualifications:

- 3+ years of work experience designing real world products

- Creative problem solving in designing electro-mechanical assemblies from concept to fabrication





- Working knowledge of various fabrication methods such as CNC machining, injection molding, 3D printing, sheet metal stamping, and assembly techniques for consumer and industrial products

- Excellent skill in 3D CAD modeling and finite element analysis (FEA)

- Good understanding of materials and structural mechanics

- Consumer electronics experience a plus

- Working knowledge of electronics and circuits

- Hands-on experience with fabrication and assembly tools

- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
