Summary

The Senior Data Developer designs, builds, and optimizes scalable and secure data solutions across the Azure ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. The role enables analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives by developing curated datasets, maintaining high‑quality data pipelines, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. The position ensures compliance with governance standards and supports continuous improvement of data architecture and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.

- Develop curated datasets for analytics using SQL, PySpark, and Azure‑based tools.

- Create and support dashboards and reports, including Power BI datasets.

- Collaborate with business, analytics, and data science teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Integrate ERP, CRM, and other enterprise data sources (e.g., Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA).

- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance in line with compliance standards (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).

- Use Azure DevOps for repository management, task tracking, CI/CD, and Agile collaboration.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for reliability and performance.

- Contribute to scalable data model design and architectural improvements.

- Document pipelines, standards, and best practices.

Education & Work Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of related experience
