About the Role

Samastha Capital Management LLP is a Pune-based capital-advisory firm. We help small and mid-sized companies raise debt and equity, manage their treasury and get CFO-level advice. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to work closely with the founder and the senior analyst on financial analysis, capital raising (Debt & Equity) and live deals. This is a hands-on role with real client contact and plenty to learn about corporate finance and investing.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing of various financial and non-financial information including but not limited to financial statements, business models and profit drivers, and pull-out clear insights by preparing detailed financial models.
- Help clean up and strengthen client financial statements.
- Review and track how clients are performing financially over time against the budget.
- Keep track of market trends and how peer companies are doing.
- Preparing Bank/s / FI/ Investor ready pitch deck.
- Data management, co-ordination with client banks and investors for sharing of information

Key Skills Required

- A strong grip on financial statements review/study and ratio analysis.




- Able to read a balance sheet and understand what is right, what is wrong, and why it is so — this is essential and should be able to deep dive into books of accounts to make necessary corrections.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite.
- Transparent, careful, analytical thinking.
- Able to handle several tasks at once and meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile

Education

- CA finalists
- Cost Accountants (completed or pursuing)
- CFA candidates (any level)

Experience

- 1–5 years in practicing CA Firm, Working in Accounts/Finance department for a manufacturing entity (with topline ranging between Rs 50 to Rs 500 Cr), fund raising in Debt & Equity Markets.
- Hands-on financial modelling experience is a must.
