Job description:

An Interior Site Engineer supervises daily on-site activities, ensuring high-quality execution of residential projects according to design plans and timelines. Key responsibilities include coordinating contractors, managing materials/labor, conducting quality checks, ensuring safety compliance, and providing daily progress reports.

Responsibilities

- Site Supervision: Manage daily operations, ensuring work aligns with blueprints, design plans, and specifications.
- Execution & Quality Control: Oversee fit-out activities (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting) to ensure high-quality finishing.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
- Resource Management: Manage on-site labor and material procurement, minimizing waste, and managing site safety.
- Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports,



documenting site diaries and addressing issues immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years in managing interior fit-out projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and interpretation of technical drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication (including local languages), problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Common Job Requirements

- Tools: Knowledge of material specifications (wood, electrical fittings, flooring etc.).
- Mobility: Often requires visiting multiple sites and possessing a 2-wheeler.
