Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and executing construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams to deliver successful infrastructure and building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, design, and supervise construction projects.

- Review drawings, specifications, and project plans.

- Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and quality standards.

- Prepare project estimates, BOQs, budgets, and schedules.

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors.

- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

- Ensure quality control of construction materials and workmanship.

- Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.

- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion.

- Manage project documentation, including reports, drawings, and approvals.

- Ensure projects are completed within the approved timeline and budget

- Solid technical and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of RCC, steel structures, and construction practices.

Working Conditions

- Primarily site-based with occasional office work.

- May require travel to project locations.

- Ability to work under deadlines and in varying weather conditions.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and site safety procedures.

- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.

- Promote safe work practices and ensure proper use of PPE.
