Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with 5 years of hands on experience in managing administering and optimizing Snowflake Data Cloud environments
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform stability performance tuning security cost optimization and operational support of Snowflake across multiple environments

Key Responsibilities:

- Snowflake Administration Operations
- Administer and manage Snowflake environments Dev Test UAT Prod
- Configure and manage virtual warehouses databases schemas and resource monitors
- Monitor system performance query execution and warehouse utilization
- Participate in Snowflake account setup configuration and upgrades
- Security Access Management
- Manage users roles privileges and role hierarchy
- Implement role based access control RBAC
- Integrate Snowflake with SSO Azure AD Okta

Technical Requirements:

- 5 years of experience as a Snowflake Administrator
- Strong hands on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud




- Deep understanding of
- Snowflake architecture
- Virtual warehouses
- Micro partitions
- Time Travel and Fail safe
- Experience with SQL performance tuning
- Knowledge of cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
- Experience with Linux Unix environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Positive to Have Preferred Skills
- Experience with Snowflake replication and failover
- Exposure to Snowflake data sharing
- Automation using Python or PowerShell
- Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL tools Informatica ADF Airflow
- Snowflake Certification SnowPro Core Advanced
- Experience with ITSM tools ServiceNow Remedy
