About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Import Executive with strong expertise in food imports, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end import operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling FSSAI-regulated food products and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely customs clearance and seamless supply chain operations.

Experience in importing supplements, grocery products, pasta, sauces, chocolates, biscuits, and other packaged foods is essential. Exposure to infant nutrition products and formula milk imports will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete import lifecycle from purchase order to warehouse delivery and cordinate with FTZ partners for clearance documents.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Customs, DGFT, and all applicable Indian import regulations.
- Coordinate FSSAI product approvals, labeling compliance, sampling, NOCs, and food clearance procedures.
- Prepare, review,



and verify all import documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- Health Certificates
- Phytosanitary Certificates (where applicable)
- Insurance Documents
- Import Licenses and Regulatory Documents
- Liaise with:
- International suppliers
- Indentors and sourcing partners
- Customs House Agents (CHA)
- DGFT authorities
- FSSAI officials
- Shipping lines
- Freight forwarders
- Transporters
- Track shipments and proactively resolve customs, documentation, or logistics issues.
- Ensure HS code classification and import documentation are accurate.
- Monitor shipment timelines and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain import records and regulatory documentation for audits.
- Ensure BOE compliance post import clearance with banking partner.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
